Hi all, I just built this but wanted to leave constructive criticism. The video doesn’t show that you will need to glue the spools to the hooks. You do. Also hot glue bonds break even though that seems to be what they used. I used super glue which worked fine, I just interpreted hot glue which was my bad. The cardboard washers work great, highly recommended. The wire “stabilizer” is harder to make than they make it look. And the biggest thing which I saw somewhere else in these comments is the rubber bands. It appears he only uses 2 which doesn’t provide enough tension. I recommend 15-20. Also unattach them after you use them so they don’t get stretched out. Other than these things, great tutorial. If you need pioneering merit badge, this is what I made, hope y’all can do it too!

Not a bad try, but I can do better with a drill and one strand at a time. I did notice the rubberband isn't strong enough to actually turn all the hooks at the same time. Also, there is no way the wind is going to work with that hook at the back, it has no way to release tension for the back wind which spins the 3 lines together. Needs a swivel of some sort.

I need 200 meters of string in one piece, not just 2 meter lengths to connect and tie later. I will not do it on the street, but in an 8-meter garage
