Great comparison of all the rod options! I agree with your assessments. I really like the Tenryu rods just for the portability and capability of fishing from tiny overgrown streams all the way up to larger rivers. There are other rods I like fishing better, but they are close. They also work well for more of an Oni style as well as tactical nymphing. A nice mid range action, not too soft or stiff.
