Damn Loni hit the nail on the head with the “you feel like you’re missing out on something” comment.

Loni is a true teacher 🔥
Advises the ladies on the need for rest and meditation to avoid burnout.

Much as Social Media is always showing people that're on the move, we should always rise above it.
Working like a robot has its own consequences, remember ?

There's need to take a
whole day off, leave alone minutes, and just relax.
This is also good for our Mental health.

This was therapeutic! I relaxed when Loni told the ladies to. And oh, they all look so great 😄 I think we should consciously set reminders on our calendar to pause for even 5 mins during our day. I started doing something like that, but I like Loni’s idea to do nothing. Will try this.😊

I instantly think of Hamilton when Loni said the opening of this topic… in “ Non Stop” they ask Alexander “ why do you write like you’re running out of time “ this man was so committed to being on the right side of history and making change and wanting to rebel against what was currently going on within the world of politics that he never took time to truly look around and just take in what he had ! A very lovely and loyal wife… 8 beautiful children & yet despite having that still wasn’t satisfied ! And I think with that message I really want to emphasize thag sometimes it’s ok to take a break ! Not everybody has the same 24 hours in a day and we shouldn’t force ourselves to feel like if we don’t consume up those hours being on the run 24/7 that we’re not fulfilling our own destiny or fate ! That’ll lead to burn out and we shouldn’t normalize always having to do that ! Cuz it’ll be a game of catch up and thats not what we want !

For me it's that I feel like things won't go well if I'm not trying to do everything

Take 30 seconds to be still and silent. Take 3 deep breaths and say thank you when you exhale! Stay mindful ✌🏽

I would love to hear Jesnnies journey as a mother. I’m curious to know how her emotional health is along with her mental health.

I love Loni but I need her to take her own advice. I was heart broken for her when she said she hasn’t seen her mum in years. She’s an older woman and I hope she finds time to visit her. I’m super close to my mum and I can’t imagine going even three months without seeing her. That’s my bestie 👯‍♀️💕

Definitely struggle with this since I’m in my struggle phase. Feel like I have to work harder every day to get myself to a better place in life. Guilt is big. Like I deserve to be in my bad situation if I’m doing nothing. Self care though I e learned to find as productive

Meditation takes practice. I started with guided meditation. Once you master clearing your mind it is mind blowing and life changing

Recognize the coming and going of each thought when you meditate. Or find a sound to focus on like your breathing or even the sound of running water
