Oran, a redeployed staff member sharing an important message during the COVID-19 crisis

Thank you to our redeployed staff who have been answering calls, local volunteers and groups who have been helping the most vulnerable get the food, medicine and help they need. During the week, including Easter, the West Suffolk team dealt with 202 calls. Oran explains his role.

The Council staff, operating as part of the "Home, But Not Alone service", connect community volunteers to the vulnerable, to help them get food and medicine. Council staff are also able to help people who are home alone and feeling lonely.
