That pledge is absolute horsesh_t. In America, founded on religious freedom, what makes the Christian Right have any heritage tie to America? Also, Christianity is the belief in Jesus Christ who taught and espoused love thy neighbor and tolerance. The Christian right is all about politics, not religion and just the opposite of Jesus' teachings and meaning.

Christian nationalists want a theocracy- take a good look at Iran and Saudi Arabia and you'll get a good idea what their aim is. The fundamentalist versions of Christianity and Islam are almost identical.

I live in Michigan and I am glad you covered this. One thing not mentioned is Ottawa County has beach towns and tourism. I will not step one foot there now and give them my tourist dollars. I hope more people will think about not funding these haters. I actually don't believe everyone in OC is like that, but they sat back and let the haters to take over. I lived in Grand Rapids when I moved to Michigan years ago and these evangelicals are as horrible as you can imagine. It was eye opening because I had never meet their like before. After 18 months, I moved to a nicer city where they had no religious people trying to control everyone, everywhere, all the time.

They are not limited to Ottawa County . They are everywhere. They are currently promoting a book which I will not name that promotes a type of Nuremberg trial for people who created Covid mandates. They recommend the same punishment. There is nothing Christian about these groups. You are so correct; the midterms made it look like America was rejecting fascism and becoming more moderate. Nothing could be further from the truth.
