I feel so lucky to live in a home with a real fireplace, and a nook by the window where I read while I watch the rain fall with the comfort of the heat of the fireplace. Thank you for reminding me of the simple pleasures.

I've made some steamy tea and hot coffee and baked up some fresh cookies with that amazing oven in the beautiful kitchen if you want some cozy refreshments. I'll bring them to the study and leave a tray on the chest for you and your guest. I'll just keep the kettle on the fire if you want another cuppa, shall I.
