Great review. I saw that Carpro released WheelX recently and I have been looking for a review. This was a great test and appreciated your honest impressions. Recently subscribed and really enjoy your videos. Thanks.

My biggest problem with all these cleaners is not how well they clean but that you need to use more than half a bottle for 4 wheels. Very expensive exercise

Awesome, I just bought a bottle each of the WheelX and the ADS wheel cleaner. I have not tried the Gyeon, but I have used MWC quite a bit and I agree, the cling is really nice. But my go to for quite a while based on recommendation of Sandro at Car Craft has been NV Purge, it is extremely effective, so much I bought and am almost out of a gallon. I anticipate I will be switching to ADS though, as I have bought gallons of quite a few of their products...

Awesome test! Was wondering how the wheel X was going to do. I tried ADS wheel cleaner today. I liked it. Cleaned really well to me. But really enjoyed the demonstrations of them. Also was curious about gyeons, glad you showed me to get that one lol. Thanks again Ryan much appreciated!!!

The regular Gyeon Iron redefined is not supposed to smell. I am wondering since you have the iron and wheel cleaner that is why it snells.?

I'd never do a touchless "clean"-ing because it's never going to even come close to what real cleaning by hand is going to do. But I am wondering if WheelX is better to use than P&S Brake Buster when used with a hand-pumped foam sprayer and washed by hand.

How do these product compared to P&S Brake Buster which is one of the most popular wheel cleaner? The main differences would be all these are more iron remover where P&S is not.

You need to try out Bilt Hamber's Auto Wheel Cleaner. The absolute best. I've used pretty much all of the ones in the video and nothing is as good as BH. Plus it smells great even with full blown iron removing capabilty. Unlike the others which makes your eyes water.

Great comparison from some of the biggest heavy hitters. Funny to think CarPro never had a dedicated wheel cleaner until now. Looks like a solid choice as you'd expect from CarPro. Like you, I've been very impressed with ADS Wheel Cleaner and the fact it's pH balanced should make it safe for all wheel types. I have a gallon the original version of ADS which does have more of the typical iron remover smell so nice to see that their revision has improved that and Bradley and DJ made an already great product even better. Thanks again for the effort in bringing us another quality video demonstrating some of the new to market products. Your new rims on the X5 look killer!

So it removes any sealants on your wheels so it should ONLY be used on extremely dirty wheels which you will be applying new sealant to your wheels after using the carpro wheel cleaner

Oh man! I think you are fast becoming one of my go to channels ATM. Thank you so much for this test, I reached out to you when you were a Sema about Wheelx had just been launched and to compare Gyeon vs Carpro. You can see straight away that Carpro and ADS seem to get to work the fastest. Carpro turned red within 6 seconds and ADS was about the same. ADS looks like it has some kind of APC/ surfactant that the foam hid the iron remover underneath- I like that its low odour and clings well.

Carpro has some foaming cling too but goes into a deeper rich red instantly- both look like they're going to work. Gyeon seems to be a bit weaker, didn't flash red hardly at all- seems a bit disappointing to what I expected. Koch Kemie is ok. I'm not much of a Koch fan, Classic German products, its expensive and there are better products available- typical German engineering.

The Gyeon is supposed to smell like Bananas? Which one is more lubricating? as I would use it with a Mitt and I feel reducing the marring is an important aspect to me. I'm in the market for a new wheel cleaner, I've use Adams- too aggressive, but watered down is ok. P&S brake buster is nice at 1:5 for light weekly duties.

The old version of Gyeon iron wheel is my current go to as its lubricious, Flashes red ok and and leaves a nicer clean surface, but its running out hence the interest. I like that Carpro do a Litre bottle as I'll hurl it on. I imagine ADS only do 16oz and a gallon without a Litre sized bottle.

Love the reviews.

One thing I do think should be noted:
I know you pulled some black onto the towel of each, but did any of the wheels look clean to the eye? I.e. they may not be a true touchless wash to get 100% clean but could it pass as one for a quick maintenance wash?

Fantastic video comparison! Do you know if these all claim to be safe on wheel coatings?

MWC is my favorite for wheels if I need iron removing capabilities. Closest to touchless that I’ve used.

I’d love to see you try the new 3D Wheel Cleaner “Wheel Kleen”. Haven’t heard much about it but saw it launch at Sema
