Yes, it works. I tried Windows 8.1 pro image on my pc running Windows 10 pro using the same software. It surely works. Also read below:

First make sure the your path is correct in both the path boxes. Then in the offline installer program, click on Configuration tab. Now select "Show installation process. (cmd console)". This is important.
