I believe Advance was the pattern company that was sold in JcPenny's then in the mid 1960s was bought out by a Parisian company

Wow, you have some good ones. Definitely 6256 is super cute. I LOL when you said cybil Shepherd Moonlighting, used to enjoy watching that. Loved Dynasty and Dallas 😅😅. I had a Brooke Shields pattern, it was a dress pattern I made in 8th grade, was just talking to my mother about that, wish I could find it. I also had a cabbage patch kid.

Hey 80's shoulder pads were the way to go! Lol! Omg you brought back so many memories. I cringe when I think back to the clothes I had like that. Haha! I really love those Du Barry patterns and the loose ones without the envelopes. Those are beautiful! What will you do with the patterns you don't use?

I love vintage patterns, but all the one that I own are made for such small measurements ! I can't make any of them for myself, but they were all given to me, so I'm not mad about that.

I'm just starting to get into sewing, and have never had any formal training. I see all of these amazing vintage patterns, and I really want to try some of them! My question is, what if the pattern is in a size that is too small, or even too large (though I don't think that will be my issue). Can you still use the pattern?

80's Bonanaza!!! I'm a big fan of 80's patterns as you know!! And those vintage ones are so lovely. Great collection.
