Russia Apologises as Azerbaijan Blames Moscow for Plane Crash | Vantage with Palki Sharma

On December 25, Azerbaijan Airlines Flight J2-8243, enroute from Baku to Grozny, crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, after facing issues shortly after take-off. The plane, carrying 67 people, resulted in 38 fatalities. Theories emerged, ranging from bird strikes to Ukrainian drones, but Azerbaijan now blames Russia for the incident. They claim the plane was damaged by Russian air defence systems and electronic warfare, which caused a loss of control. Azerbaijan demands an apology, acknowledgment of guilt, and punishment for those responsible. What will Russia's response look like? Palki Sharma explains.
