Another way. If you have another device . Switch on "screen stay on while charging" in developer options. Charge the phone, reduce brightness on to 10% ( so phone does not overheat) and leave the Hamster combat bot on. Mine till infinity.

Thanks for the info. But I think not connecting to Amsterdam will imply losing more coins you would have gotten through tapping when your energy is full. Any time you connect to Amster your profit per hour is recalculated. At the end you will loss nothing. It is beneficial at night and when we are busy.

Just turn your Auto lock off when you are about to sleep and open the app, it would still read while sleeping. Then turn you phone upside down so the light won’t disturb your sleep.
