I think the lock in with interest rates only applies to places that dont have high new construction because places like FL and TX have people listing houses with low interest rates

Interesting take! “Rates and Time will erode the lock-in effect, ” says the article! You’d think the media and failed i-buyer cos would nest the messaging after a while. Didn’t the Redfin guy just claim “sellers are hurting to list in 25’” or some other junk to that effect? Yet another says, new build cos are holding near record inventory. I’d guess “near record” reported!
