In this video we carry out a boat tour of Iris, a 57ft narrowboat. She will be taken out of the water by Bluewater Boats, shot blasted and a 2-part epoxy paint system applied. This will give the new owners peace of mind that it will be good for many many years of boating without the worry of corrosion cutting its life short… or the very expensive option of having to overplate a badly pitted hull.

Beware of any seller bearing surveys. Always commission your own survey in your own name if you are thinking about buying a used boat.

Absolutely get an independent survey but also check out any reviews on surveyors, horror stories are out there of poor surveys. Check if survey is insurance backed and make sure you have legal cover should the survey later prove to be faulty. No reflection on this company but buyer beware!

A pretty useless video, it doesn't give the really vital important piece of information that is the PRICE. Who on earth would get the seller to do the survey? A nice boat for all that though. Are there any sola panels?
