Oberheim OB-X8 Demo - 'Seize The Day'

Thought I'd do a Track using just the Oberheim OB-X8 (Besides Drums) for all the Sounds. They're all Custom Patches, some of which I have demonstrated before. I was going to do a Review, but wanted to really get to know the Synth, the way the different Filters, Envelope/LFO Types work together.

It really is an amazing Synth, even though there are a lot of people saying otherwise, well...They're wrong. I love Complex Synths with lots of functions, but end of the day, it's the Sound that counts and the Oberheim OB-X8 has Bucket Loads of it!...Seize The Day my friends :)

Totally awesome video for sure. Takes me back to the early 80’s with that rich Oberheim sound. Love the demo you have done as it showcases what the OB-X8 is capable of. I have mine on order and can’t wait to get it !

Nice one, I have an OB-6 and won't get an X8 (have a Prophet 10 though)... but this does show the tone of the synth the best so far (and it sounds good - even has some Jupiter 8 vibes I think). The composition is great too.
