Collection of videos and pictures of Christoph Sahner, West German hammer thrower from the eighties. It includes a documentary broadcasted in September 1988, showing his world age best of 75.50 with 6.25kg in 1981 at age 17 (2 August 1981 in Flensburg), his national record throw of 81.56 in 1985 and his lifetime best of 81.78, just before Seoul Olympic Games. I’ve included other footage of 1983 Worlds, 1986 European Champs and 1987 world champs, with some biomechanical analysis that already exist on youtube thanks to the channels of Gerlof Holkema (best channel on throws) and Basil Sage (comprehensive footage database).
