How to forward bay park - Top tips from the AA Driving School

Mark Born, The AA's Driving Instructor Training Manager, will show you how to do the 'forward bay park' manoeuvre. Practical driving tests will potentially include this manoeuvre from December 2017 onwards.

Every now and then it might be easier to drive straight into a parking bay - such as when you're at the supermarket.

Here's how:

- You can make sure your visibility isn't impacted
- You can enter the bay in one move
- You can reverse out of a parking bay safely and easily

You may as well have said "to fly a plane, check that the sky is clear and fly your plane into it"

You dont have to be central ideal but not essential, as long as wheels are in box & not touching lines .

This morning in Dark Lane Cheshunt Hertfordshire a AA van failed to give way to a clear sign, almost hitting me head on. Does the AA employ idiot drivers ? Or is this dangerous driver a one off ?
