I watched this video once already right after it came out and I was left speechless. I don't even play Smash myself and I'm not even sure if I ever will. However, when I found this video, I was instantly taken away by the work and passion that I found. The story that was weaved here is something to be truly proud of. The path that Smash has gone through and the truth of what it stands for had been laid out so plainly and perfectly, it was able to capture someone who previously had no interest in the franchise. But most importantly for me, the passion and love of this topic shone through everything else, and for that, I have nothing but respect and admiration. Amazing job man!

You know, when I heard the announcement of Sora being in Smash, I felt largely indifferent. It wasn't that it wasn't cool, but I guess I was hoping for the Doom Slayer, as just the idea of him being in Smash was insane. However, after this video (as well as having the Doom Slayer as a Mii skin), I fully appreciate what Sora means, not just for fans like yourself who wanted him in the game, but also for what the potential of what Smash represents: a crossover of multiple franchises blending in a shared world seamlessly. So, thanks for this video, Drew! It really expanded my thoughts about Sora, and I appreciate that! Have a great one, my friend!

Because of this today I once aggain opened my second favourite game of all time. Kingdom hearts 2. If ff9 hits me with the sweet Nostalgia that helpe me travel and imagine my dreams. Then Kingdom hearts gives me a nice warm hug and tells me thwt everything will be OK eventually. I love that game

Oh, didn't expect you to make a video about this 😂 Honestly, when I was watching the presentation I was _very_ surprised that it turned out to be Sora. It's the "impossibility" to put Sora in Smash that you mentioned. As much as I love KH, I didn't think it would be possible for Sora to become a fighter. But ooohh, the reveal trailer is so perfect. It's also so symbolic. When Ultimate was first teased, it shows the flames of the Smash emblem along with the fighters (alive and not in their "toy form"). In the final fighter reveal trailer, the flames are shown to be dying and the fighters revert to being toys. But the last bit of fire is literally used to summon Sora and make everyone alive again, implying that Smash will never die. And that handshake at the end too with the flames being rekindled again! Such a good "end".
