Meanwhile, this 'salon suite' from Suffolk is recognised for its organic pearwood and interesting Regency stripes. The stunning contoured armrest almost gives an illusion that it is growing deep beneath the ground. The experts from Antiques Roadshow take a look at some fantastic antiques and the history and stories surrounding them. This clip was filmed in the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2001.

The monetary value of these objects is almost irrelevant. In almost every case, in these videos, it's the same money as you'd pay for a second-hand car. The appeal is getting to see the beauty and craftsmanship in these magnificent pieces.

I'm sorry, but I am completely distracted by the first 2 seconds of this video. I would love to know the name of the statue in the background, and what it actually depicts. I feel very guilty that all I get from it is some sort of weird sophomoric reaction EVERY TIME I WATCH😂
