Making Sirius less reckless, as he was in the book, and more parental was a fantastic move - in the book the same conversation doesn't help Harry feel better in any way, whereas here you can feel the weight lifting from Harry, and the way they hug each other at the end is so pure, not to mention the amazing advice... I feel Harry & Sirius's relationship in this movie was done perfectly...

I love Daniel and Gary's chemistry. Daniel says that he feels his best acting was the films he did with Gary and I believe it. Daniel already is a great actor in these films but there is something special about the scenes he did with Gary.

What I love about this scene is that Harry really speaks to Sirius in a completely unguarded vulnerable way, even in a way he can't do with Ron and Hermione, he finally is able to open up, and you can see Sirius' pain for Harry but he holds back his own emotions to be the parent figure Harry truly needs. He wants to just hold him but he knows that Harry loves him more than anything so he holds it back to say what Harry needs to hear. It makes me cry because I would love to have had that. Beautiful scene from Oldman and Radcliffe, probably my favourite.

I hate that a lot of peoples die in HP, but damn Sirius, one hit the most. After everything they've been through, him and Harry deserve to be happy. Live in their little house in the sun with birds and peace. They haven't had a lot of times together but the little they have Sirius was amazing with Harry. He didn't deserve this tragic end. :(

I think this may be one of the best scenes of not the best scene, in all of the Harry Potter movies. I suffer with mental health problems and one of the things I struggle with is that I see the world as very black and white. This scene though really opened up my eyes when Sirius says “The world isn’t split into good people and death eaters, we’ve all got both light and dark inside of us”. Maybe things aren’t so black and white? I also relate so much to Harry being angry all the time and when Sirius says “You’re a very good person who bad things have happened too”. I cry every time at this as I just relate to it so much. Beautiful acting by both of them.

Gary Oldman brought so much more to this character, a more gentle and sensitive side. I think that's the only thing that I really missed in the books

To think Daniel Radcliffe was actually 15/16 when they filmed this! The body language he used to portray Harry's inner tension and anger is just amazing. As much as I always love behind the scenes stuff, when I watch the movies the actors just become the characters. Amazing

Beautiful scene. And that part when Sirius lingers for just a moment longer, looking back at the family tree as he closes the door. We all wish that Harry would've finally had a "proper family, " but I can only imagine how much that dream also meant to Sirius, considering how he also basically never really had one himself.

If you think about it, this is sirius speaking from personal experience. He was charged with mass murder and sent to azkaban without a trial. He lost everything. His best friend Lupin turned against him and his other friends were dead. He literally was a "very good person who bad things have happened to." With all of that suffering and torture from dementors at azkaban, he chose the right path to act on.

When Sirius talks about the choice of what part of us we act on. It made me realize that the hero and villain both often have a similar up and coming story. Bad or rough childhoods, trials and errors. However it’s the choices of the hero/villain that make them into who they are.
