I love how David’s first reaction to meeting Adam Smasher was to get in his face with a “SMELLS LIKE BITCH IN HERE!” attitude.

I really like how Adam’s not just going in the second he sees him, he’s chatting it up with David. He knows he’s gonna annihilate the kid but he does respect that he’s gotten this far, and is letting him have this stare down. I adore that.

Ok first things first, the way Adam says his line at 0:06 “you’re packing some heavy artillery for your size boy” with that growl is badass af. The delivery on it was so oppressive and then David just shut talking back with no fear is legend material

This crushes my soul. The overarching theme of purpose. David lived for other people, and wanted to be special, only to have someone walk up to him and take away things he lived for, while saying he's nothing special.

What I love most of all is that they brought the original VA for Adam in the game for this show. He's got a cool voice and filter.

Ah a good ol classic stare down + shit talk combo. I love how David is talking likes he’s ready to fight a legend while Adam is kind of just surprised someone’s legitimately standing face to face with him, in the condition David is in.
