Question the Narrative | There Is Nothing New Under the Sun

While pondering an everlasting earth, I couldn't help wondering how God could keep our technology in check. And then I remembered reading about this.

I read the book “The Fourth Turning” years ago before I woke up and became a believer. That book gave me good insight on how things work according to generations and “turnings”. Things occur within an 80-100 year time frame. It made sense. Since we are only alive for and 80-100 time frame, we only know and understand what we experience and what we are taught. We can look at physical evidence like artifacts, architecture, and geography to tell us things, but for history, we rely on what the “controllers” allow us know. It’s hard to get over the fact we have been lied to for our entire lives. I think belief in The Bible is really the only true account of history so we can use to figure all of this out. I was born in 1961. In my life span, I’m currently starting the 4th turning. I understood to be in the 3rd Turning when I read this book. Now, it becomes clear that we are in the 4th Turning. I remember the Hero Generation would be cat to offspring of our generation. Happy to think my kids would help solve things. It makes even more sense now that I’ve lived the 20 years since I read this book

Two things: I'm an artist and like to listen to classical music or scripture while painting. Today I was going to listen to Ecclesiastes, but opted to listen to your video, and what do you know?!

2.5 yrs ago when we moved to our property (all we had was a tiny home not hooked up to anything yet) and I remember playing with my little one in the field on the mountain side, I looked down and was looking at this bigger rock when I heard the Father speak to me and he said “rest.” Ultimately to rest in him. Thank you for the reminder today, I hope all that have faith in Jesus are finding their rest in him, this world will always produce craziness but giving your cares to the Heavenly Father lifts off those weights pressing down upon you. Praying for those that believe to draw closer to Jesus, praying for those that the Father is drawing to him. Amen 🙏

Thank you Shelly. Great video. I believe I was awakened during the Y2K announcement. While growing our own business at home we became aware of the concepts of people who in mass who would become desperate and dangerous due to a coming societal break down. We were focused on moving way out and still connected. Which we did. We level up our skills raising and growing food and then homeschooling and home churching. We met lots of families who were thinking the same thing. And a community was formed and connections through trade and support were forged. Fast forward to today. The way I felt all those years ago has not left me. It is important to be mindful of what is lasting and valuable skill verses what is mindless time passing. I know my children and now grandchildren know how to raise and grow food and their foods’ food. That is peace of mind... for me. 🌞🌱❤️

My brother was a self-professed, full preterist 30 years ago, and fell away from the Lord. It seemed a general detachment from Christianity altogether through that vector. Stopped attending church, found fault with the modern form of worship. He is only now reclaiming his faith, after so long in a kind of wilderness... I think too much seeking of knowledge, and not relying on faith, can be a snare. Also, wanting to know every detail, can be a trap in understanding prophecy. Preterism isn't without flaws. I've watched family grapple with these concepts for 30 years Shelley, sister. Please remain objective, since it doesn't hold all the answers to prophecy.

I have been in the space of 'Oneness with God'...the rest of this life is like watching a movie. All we have control over is making the small space around us orderly, beautiful and tranquil. Thanks for reminding us that this is all cyclical...and there really isn't 'anything' new under the sun...in which it appears one has to agree to participate

I found this video to be comforting in some way, the world is crazy but you maybe onto something when you stated that God may have to just keep humanity in check. Makes me think of the Tower of Babel.
