Not until 3:59 do you hear that the PAP stands for Positive Axis Point. He never says what PSA is. Preferred Spin Axis. How can you make a video about the two main subjects and not mention what they stand for in the beginning, or at least 2 or 3 times during it. Everything about this video is awesome. The graphics and slow motion shots along with the explanation are perfect and I learned a lot. Bowling ball layout uses quite a few acronyms so it would help if you at least said what they stand for. But I will end with saying thank you for a very informative 3 part pin buffer series which will help me quite a bit as I am about to have two balls drilled. You really wonder how much the pro shop guys know in detail about all the things going on with ball layout. Anyway, thanks again!!

So...now we get to wait a month for the next video! Maybe by the 2020 winter league I'll be able to drill my 4 new balls!

on asymetrical ball do I place arc ruler in center of symbol or at 6.75 from pin in that arc, my absolute has psa marked 5.5 away from pin and my exotic gem is further away from pin, please advise

Not once did you define PSA or PAP. And while I am interested enough to look it up, I am sure this is why most people think you are speaking a foreign language.

Great instruction. I like to get better at everything I do and always prefer an Asym. I actually just got my first sym ball and notice a big difference.

So for a speed-dominant player using an asymmetric ball, would you want to push the PSA-to-PAP more towards 2" to force the ball into an earlier roll? When I use PSA-to-PAP of 4", I see my ball still in the hook phase as it enters the pins. Maybe I need more surface to pull the breakpoint closer to the foul line?

I'm a bit confused as to what Alex means when he says the marker on the PaP "lines up" with the other marker?

Also, exactly and how do you determine where to put the second marker? I understand its 3in away in the direction of migration but does the mean 3in toward the bow-tie of the track flare?

Thank you Storm and Alex for these videos very educational and informative

Thanks for your help! I used the 5 X 4 X 2, I have a high ball speed and it works perfectly.
