I love this bass line. Reminds me of some of the older Danheim songs like Vega, Ulfhednar or Berserkir. The drum is overdriven or distorted - a modern twist in an old norse inspired music. "When the jarl drops the bass", a comment once read. I love that. Gives the impression that this culture and this music never went away, it evolved and merged with modern day music, albeit definitely stuck to it's roots.

I will always adore those dark, powerful vocals combined with the mystical ambience... its an element that is very prominent in traditional Norse music. You can't help but imagine how terrifying it must've been for their opponents or anyone they encountered!
