P. C. Sorcar Jr. (formal name Prodip Chandra Sorcar) is an Indian magician based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He is the second son of Indian magician P. C. Sorcar. He is also the recipient of Merlin Award in Magic.

I'm just mesmerized by the performance of Mr. PC Sarkar. I wish I could see a live show but I guess our era would never allow us to witness such a legend again.

I had an opportunity to watch his show as a 8th grader. The year was 1996. I had an exam the next day and I was so split on whether I should go and watch his show or study for the exam. I decided to go with my parents (and took a book with me just so that i don’t regret it). That was the best show I had the privilege of watching. Almost 26 years later, I still remember the show vividly.

I have been lucky to watch him thrice till now- twice in Mahajati Sadan, Kolkata, the best stage for magic shows here from the 1st row, and once in Maithon, now in Jharkhand in his hay days. Believe me, he really does magic. The tricks and the whole performance become a magic. His costume, his terrific voice acting, his movements on stage, his shining energy and the live music at the bottom of the stage- it mesmerises. It's an experience every human being should get a chance to enjoy. But alas, I haven't been able to take my 12 year old to his show yet.
