Hi everyone, thank you for watching this short video. In this short video I restore and repair the 5th generation 30GB iPod classic from 2005. The iPod is working well and I really enjoyed listening to music.

Good job! I’m happy you were able to do this to some old hardware that still has another life going for it! You should check out some case replacements to customize the case with different colors and flash molding for a future video 😉

Good restoration, and I must say that I love the iPod Classic because it has one function only: to play and store all of your audio files. It also can't be made obsolete by software, which is something that happens with ALL smart devices nowadays!
P.S. Where can I get some 96% isopropyl alcohol from?

I have the same from 2006. Is there a way to replace the battery ? Mine doesn’t last more than 15 mins. Like to fix and keep as a collectible

You can flash mod it or you can mod it to have more games than the default ones.

I think I had the same one but it was called the iPod video. Someone stole it out of my locker during practice. It was like losing a chunk of my life.
