Bu üç sesli motet 13. yüzyılın sonlarına ait ve metni "Alleluya" sözcüğünün içine başka metinler eklenerek yapılmış. (Alle -psallite cum- luya, gibi) Bu eklentilere "tropus" deniyor.

Motetin temel yapısı sekizli ve beşli gibi mükemmel aralıklarla ilerliyor, bunlar üçlü ve altılı gibi mükemmel olmayan aralıklara değişimli kullanılıyor.

This late 13. cenury motet has its text composed by adding extra texts into the word "Alleluya". (e.g. Alle-psallite cum-luya) These additions are called "tropus".

The motet mostly goes with perfect intervals such as octaves and fifths, which alternate with imperfect ones such as thirds and sixths.
