IMPRESSIVE LARGE SCALE WW1 SCOUTS and FIGHTERS !!! DAWN PATROL
A fantastic display by the numerous members of the Dawn Patrol Display Team at Large Model Association Cosford Show 2019. These amazing WW1 scale warbirds are ALL built from scratch by their owners and are very challenging to fly in any type of wind due to their extremely low wing loading.

Filmed at the Large Show 2017 with the Panasonic AG-UX180 4K pro camcorder.

Simply wonderful! I can only imagine the patience and skills required to scratch build all these amazing planes. I have built 2 meter gliders with my father and loved spending time with him out in the garage. We spent many happy afternoons searching out thermals, and patrolling the cliffs near the beach as well. Flight, to me, is magical and I love watching these excellent videos. Kudos to all involved.

Very professional filming against that ominous dark sky Dom. Excellent steady closeups. With the size and weight of these models, there’s very little need for a slomo as they have that realistic presence in the air already. I haven’t flown my Corsair or Grasshopper for a very long time, so this is a real treat. Many thanks.

I love the DVII, it's a street fighter among ballerinas.

Great video. I once scratch-built a Sopwith Camel with scale undercarriage. What a mistake that was. Nice flying plane, though.

is it a good idea to use a paramotor engine on an RC Model plane?
