Lol Tavarish. "Z32 will never be a classic because it's too hard to work on." "I think the VR4 will be a classic" Get real.

Tesla Roadster? It's already rare, the first of its kind, unusual and at least not ugly.

Why is it that all but 1 of the women had some shallow gold digger response of 250k+ cars? ...the guys mentioned cars ranging from 3k old to-50k brand new, yet the women go straight for ultra rare Porsche and million dollar ford GTs.

I guarantee you the BMW i8 is not going to be a classic. It's like the first generation iphone. Who wants that? The mini cooper engine is not ground breaking. The MPG numbers are a complete Hoax, and the battery/computer aspect, well we know that stuff always upgrades fast.

the Lexus LFA, yes i know it went out of production in 2012, but for the fact that only 500 units where made for world wide distribution it's very exclusive so years down the road i can see this car been a collector's item.

Honda S2000. It was made because of the 50th anniversary, prices are already rising now. But I'm sure it's gonna be something like another integra type r. Another one I can think of is a Mercedes Benz s600 coupe. They are already hard to find, and the car was definitely special back then. Make sure it's a s600 coupe not a cl600

Jalopnik is my favorite channel, it's full of people who don't know about cars but talk about cars. I also love the parody you guys were going for with the bloopers but they turned into irony. "Will watch again, much wowz" - 11/10 IGN

A very low cost gamble would simply be Miata. sure, they made a ton of them, which is why used ones are inexpensive. They are also amazingly fun to drive and since so many people owned one when they were younger they would be popular in 30 years, sort of like VW bugs were worth $300 30 years ago and now go for $3000 to $6000.

There's a difference between a classic and a collectors item.

The 2004 Ford GT will be a future classic.
The 2017 Ford GT will be a collectors item.

The Lamborghini Aventador will be a future classic.
The Lamborghini Veneno will be a collectors item.

The Honda NSX, S2000, & Type-R Civic's (all models) will be future classics.
The Honda Mugen RR will be a collectors item.

The list goes on, these are just a few examples. Generally speaking, the cars that will be classics are uncommon but not hard to find one for sale. The cars that will be collectors items will be very hard to find, very unlikely to find for sale, and very rare to spot.

Alfa Romeo 4c will be a future classic. Its ahead of its time, limited production, fast and good handling.

Yes, the i8 is a wonderful sports car minus the fact that *it has the horsepower rating of a Chrysler 300C while being priced higher than a GTR.*
