It will be hard to hit 100 million in a week, as it will launch on current gen consoles only at first. There are currently 46 million PS5 and 21 million Xbox Series X/S (67 million in total).

Honestly I had no intentions of buying a PS5 until they announced GTA 6 was only coming to PS5 & Xbox Series X. This game is literally the reason I'm finally picking one up. I mean there are other games I want to get, like Alan Wake 2, Alone in the Dark, or Spider-Man 2 that were exclusive to next gen but I didn't want to play them badly enough to warrant $650 CAD for the console and THEN $90 CAD per game.
