Fescue is looking good, and weeds are looking sad. I'd say that's a win. Now if we can get some warmer weather, our bermuda will be kicking off, and you can get good and dusty with the scalping. How low are you going to maintain the front this year?

In Minnesota from 9/1 to 5/15 a good portion of that is winter and heavy snow on the lawn, so most people don’t start fertilizing until mid/late April

That's allot of N at 5lbs per 1, 000 especially in the shade, at 32% your putting down 1.6lbs of N.
