The 1.2 has been some of the best filler related stuff I've done in a game recently. To put it simply this didn't feel extraneous or completely separate. It expanded the world out, connected and fleshed relationships which Rover in particular needed badly for cohesion. It also tackled in game issues that mirror real world ones which all ended up being tied back in a satisfying way. To me I'm hoping that Kuro can continue this style of off main story patch quality that builds relationships with characters and roots us emotionally to the world.

I love how the festival story truly started with "Hee hoo, I'm a researcher who wants to unalive myself". Sadly, I relate to him and I feel both seen and called out throughout that storyline. Kuro _did_ get the general mental health approach correct, too; we need to be seen, especially in relation to emotional distress - and severe ones as well.

And I've yet to touch the part of Yao's story yet... 😭

The side quests were a perfect addition to the festival event. It shows us how different each of our characters' experiences are in such moments. (I really wish it was voiced like you said)

I really liked Jiyan's side quest. The fact that he has to sacrifice attending such festivities so others can enjoy it in peace, or that seeing everyone having fun makes up to him not being able to be there is so realistic and heartwarming. Without talking about how he still worries about his soldiers or his relationship with them being a former one himself, they reminded me again why he's my favorite character xD Great video!

I loved the side quests with all the playable characters, but my favourite thing was actually seeing the Yangyang/Chixia/Baizhi trio being friends. I find everyone loving the Rover to be a bit forced, so it's nice to see people that have normal relationships with each other unrelated to Rover.

That said, as a Chixia main, I'm not sure how to feel about Chixia trying to be a wingman setting up Yangyang x Rover. Kind of funny, I guess.

Spot on; I like the your take on the three wishes story, especially with how the world can end on an individual scale. Although the final part can be improved (i.e. Feature a unique enemy instead of an overworld boss), I'm stoked to see _how_ they deliver their next stories, considering that Black Shores has a "digital world" in it. I also appreciate the side quests with the character; super glad to know more about the Jinzhou crew. :)

Seeing as Kuro are a fan of NieR, I wouldn't be surprised if Pascar is derived from Pascal. After all there is a side character named Pascal in NieR: Automata.

Not going to hold you! I wasn’t super hooked at the beginning of WuWa like you said, they kinda were like “yeah you’re awake let’s save the world” but when I finished Jinshi story arc/ then this new one, I am now in love! they did great the humanity was needed for sure

first time in your channel, truly a wuthering waves content. maybe my yt algorithm is bad or what but when i see wuwa content elsewhere the main point is always how this game is better than that other games. its good to see someone pointing out the good of this game while not comparing. it would be better if wuwa could be it's own thing.
