Why does the bloop look so big, even the original size of the bloop was first deduced to be only 47-50 meters

when scientists found the sound they thought it was a creature that was bigger than a blue whale and they measured it from a sound that was bigger than the sound of a blue whale then scientists concluded that the sound came from a creature that was slightly bigger than a blue whale which was only about 47 -50 meters the size that scientists concluded were the first to examine the bloop before they knew that the bloop was just the sound of chunks of ice

I don't understand even though the origin of the first bloop and the scientists who researched it said that the bloop was only around 47-50 meters but when people made the bloop they made it hundreds of meters in size

Fun fact: the bloop was mistaken for the sound of an iceberg cracking in the southern ocean. So, it’s not a real creature.

Also, the mosasaurus was not 60 feet long.
