Oooh, I love the idea of the holy water spray bottle! My grandmother goes through and sprinkles holy water in each room of her house every night before bed.

What an awesome store by you. I wish we had something like that here.
The Nativity straw reminded me of a project our small children did for Christmas one year. They were given a manger, a baby Jesus and a baggie of straw pieces at the beginning of Advent. They were told each time they did something good they were to add a piece of straw to the manger to make it comfy for Baby Jesus when he is born. It was monitored by the parents, of course, and by Christmas Eve the manger was comfy and ready for the new born Baby Jesus to sleep in. It was a big success in our family. God bless, Linda

I don't really thrift much, but the cross stitch books caught my eye! Not that I need any more patterns. I struggle with thrifting because I don't have the vision, like how I would use the item. I really go with a very specific goal in mind. The last time I bought cards, they didn't have envelopes for all the cards! I didn't find out until I was literally writing out cards to my womens' bible study group. I guess, that is what you get when you try to buy cards at the thrift shop.

How fun was this! Oh I enjoy going to thrift shops whenever I get to the city. I was so excited to start receiving a senior discount at the thrift store after my bday this month but w/ my work hrs cut, I don't know when I'll get to fly to the city.
We're supposed to get some snow this wk so our berry harvesting will be done for the year soon. I got over a quart of tundra cranberries (lingonberries) yesterday.
