While DJI competitor's were trying to force features on Mini 2 platform, DJI rightly calculated that platform wouldn't be up to the requirements needed, abandoned it and did a (mostly) clean sheet design. Gettin cooling right for the imrnse processing needed was job 1. Forcing Air through rear intakes / moving rear facing sensors and that now iconic nose up attitude -all part of a path through opposing challenges that, if anyone wants to minimize, all you need to do is look at all the OTHER successes in full featured sub-250 drones...

I had one for a week. Fab drone. I made a foolish mistake and tried to land it on a boat. It’s now sat at the bottom of a deep lake. Waiting for the Air3S to use my spare RC2 controller.
