Rig Tour: Twenty One Pilots Bassist Skyler Acord

Twenty One Pilots is back on the road and bringing the heat on 2022‘s ICY Tour! Sweetwater got an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at bassist Skyler Acord‘s signature Spector 5-string bass: the Legend 5. The Legend 5 delivers Spector’s classic high-performance feel and tone, plus a few signature touches: there‘s a thinner, faster neck profile, Bartolini Spector pickups with active/passive switching, high-vis green fingerboard inlays, and gold hardware. Skyler also talks about making the leap from club gigs to arenas and first getting into Spector through death metal. Of course, he‘s not playing death metal these days, but that just goes to prove the versatility of the Spector sound. Check it out!
