Remember First seeing rag man on Arrow, which lead to me researching him. Really interesting character. 70's abit before my time.

The cover by March is dynamite. :) The interior wasn't to bad, but if March had done that too, it would, for me, been a no brainer buy. All in all, I'm glad I didn't though. And speaking of covers. I may get a lot of flack for this, but I have a rant to make. And that is, to me, I'm finding over the last year especially that whenever a comic with a beautiful cover is published (usually drawn by someone hot in the business), the interior sucks, drawn by God knows who. I just had to let that out. Now that I think about it, it's all about the Benjamins. Because a comic book company would have to pay out to much money in order to have that hot cover artist do the interior also. I'm really over this because the truth is we've all just seen the best from the 60's, 70's and early 80's creative men and women. Including the creative guys who went from Marvel to build Image. And add in Campbell (when he did the interiors of Gen13), along with Deodato. You mentioned before about the independent comics, and yeah, that seems to be the way reading is going because like the creators of old, these independent people are doing it for much less income and with more of a sense of ownership, like making babies rather than something like shoes. I think the best Superhero comics have already been made. It will be interesting to see what the 'Big Two' can produce without completely going under. I wouldn't want to be the decision maker for either of those companies. I get more enjoyment reading older DC and Marvel then from todays need to seemingly have to make comics 'smarter'. It may have all started with the original Secret Wars. ? The "Big Two' are now backed into a corner, and the room is getting smaller for them. Thanks for being there Prof. :)
