That's an interesting way to do the inner drop shadow, I usually just select all the letter, make a new layer, and bevel the object, and make the bevel one color, then overlay it.

FYI, this tutorial works with gimp. Just make sure when you add drop shadows that the X and Y are at 0.

For the uninitiated, you'll notice that the "Layer 2" disappeared at about 5:00 - he merged "Layer 2" down into the "Text Layer", he forgot to mention that, but then again, he did say this is an advanced tutorial, so that knowledge is most likely assumed... just wanted to let you folks know.
