He is absolutely sick of it

During the Colorado Avalanche's 6-4 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, Nathan MacKinnon lost his temper late in the third period, lashing out at the referees over missed calls. His frustration escalated, resulting in a 10-minute game misconduct and an ejection from the game. Despite scoring a power-play goal and adding an assist, MacKinnon's emotions boiled over as the Avalanche fell to 0-2 for the season

Hey guys, error in the video: The last goal I showed was let in by the backup. Completely forgot he got pulled.

Georgiev reminds me a lot of when Samsonov was in Toronto. Some nights he looks okay, some nights he looks like a Vézina candidate and some nights it looks like he is a fringe beer league goalie. Far from the only two goalies to have that, but two very recent ones.

Honestly, he let in 2 goals on 3 shots, we pulled him after the 3rd goal at 9 shots. I love Georgie but he needs to pick it up

If you score 4 goals 2 games in a row and still lose, you need to either evaluate your defense (Colorado doesn't have any real issues with that) or your goaltending. Their goaltending hasn't been good for a while but their defense and powerhouse of an offense could counter inconsistent goaltending. But now its just bad

The officiating has been atrocious. So many weak calls, and so many blatant none calls. It’s ridiculous.

Btw. For those spelling it “Aves, ” it’s “Avs.” Why would there be an e???

The Jackets are looking good so far this year.

How the Aves only have 1 cup in the past years blows my mind, but Georgiev definitely isn't getting them another.

It's pretty weird to me that they even tried to stick with Georgiev considering they had this exact same problem for long stretches last year as well... The guy had one good season in 22-23 and has been average at best for the rest of his 8 year career almost entirely as a backup, it's not like he's some young guy who's figuring out his game.
Then again who knows, goalies are weird and all it takes is one spark for him to be right back in that golden year form.

After Bednar puts out Mac and Rantonen with Makar and Toews, the Aves are very weak after that.

I was complaining about my goalie picks this season for my fantasy league until I saw that the guy ahead of me has Georgiev. Man has contributed a -5 so far to his team. Brutal.

The Avs not putting Landeskog on LTIR is asinine. This roster is fucked.

This is not "passion for winning". I have played against guys like this. They get so used to winning that they can't comprehend losing and they lose their composure.

George is a streaky goalie..he is hot and cold no real in between. Know what I mean?

Here’s the thing. I get athletes wanting to win, but as a fan I couldn’t care less about consistency. What I’m saying is, had my Edmonton Oilers won last season I would not care if they fall off the face of the earth. I just want one Cup man. Just one.

(I’m clearly not an athlete)

Refs missing calls? That's unheard of.
