Did you know? Brian May's "The Show Must Go On" was recorded with Freddie Mercury in the late stages of AIDS; despite concerns about his strength, Freddie performed the song in one take after a shot of Vodka. Mick Jagger provided backing vocals, and Klaus Voorman played bass on Carly Simon's "You're So Vain," while Eric Clapton wrote "Wonderful Tonight" out of frustration with his girlfriend's outfit changes. "When I'm Sixty Four" by the Beatles featured Paul McCartney's vocals sped up to make him sound younger when recorded in the late 60s, though it was one of his earliest compositions from the 1950s. And finally, Keith Richards will never die!

So that is how Keith Richards does it. At the rate that people continue to smoke cigarettes, Keith could live forever.

Keith Richards actually died in 1974, but no one's had the heart to tell him.
Since then he's become one of the un-dead.

The fact about Freddie is actually wrong. He was so ill that he had to record each line separately. The line he did in one take was, "I'll face it with grin, im never giving in, on with the show, " which is one of the highest chest voice notes he ever hit.

I remember as a teen hearing You're So Vain on the radio thinking that chorus harmony was Carly singing it on an overdub track. I thought, gee her lower register sounds nasty. Later I learned it was Jagger and that explained everything.

They all should follow the mercury way.

Freddy Mercury was as much of a gangsta as one could possibly be being an Indian kid growing up in London.

Miss his talent and showmanship.
