So grateful yall are talking about this. I lost two grandchildren to estrangement. And i still talk to their dad, my son, many times a week. We just act like it never happened. Its eating me alive. They live around 6 miles from me and its been 3 years this month.

These losses in most cases cause an existential crisis. My suffered a psychotic break when i was nine, and no one was there for me to help me process and understand it. Without that and not able to grieve properly it became a death by 1000 paper cuts, as Boss describes it😢
