DOT would sit on the off ramp that I had to take to get to the yard and anytime I’d see them sitting there I’d post on FB “DOT checking your prostate at exit 18 today”. One day I get a PM from the damn officer that runs that spot and I’m like oh dear god no, cause my truck is very easy to spot and anyone around knows who it is and the message starts with “So a buddy showed me that post about my pull off, I see your truck all the time I know who you are and now so does every officer in the jurisdiction” and I’m like my god did I mess up with a stupid joke, and it ended with “I can’t speak for if you wander outside our jurisdiction but I’m letting you know you won’t ever be getting pulled in by us. That’s the best way I’ve ever heard anyone put an inspection”. I consider myself very lucky because if that dude didn’t have a sense of humor I could have gotten a lifetime of headache 😂sometimes dumb jokes pay off though.

Virginia stopped me at 2 in the morning ...he stayed well I pulled you over for speeding ...I clocked you at 15 over in a 55 MPH zone ...I told him the only reason I was speeding was to make sure he was awake ...
He gave a warning ticket for 5 over lol

Man asked me if I had my log book right ....I told him I have been married for 30 years ...you think that happened by telling the truth all the time ? He gave me back my log book with out looking at it.

A story from my old man. He was a tadem driver and at the end of a job they would run for 36 hours then sleep for 24 hours. Then, spread it out over 5 days to make the log look right. 😂
