I would have love for you to go the machine and show us you are showing us how to sew and also show us how you cut the collar and markings better. Collars are most beginners down fall so a real step by step tutorial would be better.

I really love this coat. Note: at 34:49 Nikki says sew the top seams of the lining at the sides and the shoulders. However, when you get to 39:28 you can see they are not sewn together at the shoulders. You will need to know this when you get to 39:31 as she says "attach" at the shoulders again. I had to remove my stitching to attach the facing at the shoulders. Just FYI. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

What kind if lining did you use for your sleeves? Also what's the material you used for the coat?

Hi Nicki...Love your coat design! I'm allergic to wool. What other fabrics might work? Please tell me where to find the finished measurements of the coat. I'm probably in between an 18 and a 20 depending on the actual measurements. Thanks...Karen...Also beginner sewist so love the tutorials.

Can I use the same fabric for the lining

Happy to have found you before I finished the coat. Put top collar on before I should have. Could you please work with lighter brighter colors. It was very difficult for visual learners to see what you were showing many times. Otherwise it was helpful.

The back piece says to cut on the fold. Is it a design element to have it as 2 pieces with a seam?
