She is really not that bright. She was supposed to be so close to her son but couldn't see that he is gay? Even talking about how close he was with his "friend" and going on about how inseparable they were and she never wondered if her son was gay or bi? Either she is (1) blind, (2) deeply in denial, or (3) just down-right stupid. I'm thinking it's #3.
