Mass Effect 2 - RARE BAILEY DIALOGUE (Talking to Council Before Meeting Him)

In this video, we’re going to explore some rare dialogue from Commander Bailey in Mass Effect 2, which is triggered by visiting Anderson on the Presidium before speaking to Bailey.

When you visit the Citadel for the first time in Mass Effect 2, a Turian C-Sec officer will flag you down as you go through security. Since Shepard is still listed as deceased in C-Sec records, he recommends speaking with Bailey to clear up any confusion. During this meeting, Bailey can either fix your records or leave them as is, depending on what dialogue option you choose. He’ll also suggest you go meet with the Council.

However, if you meet with the Council BEFORE speaking with Bailey he’ll have some unique dialogue when you greet him for the first time. There are two different versions of the conversation, depending on whether or not Shepard was reinstated as a Spectre.

I like the fact that Bailey's character is very practical. He doesn't hesitate to skirt around the rules if it means catching the bad guys and preventing civilian casualties.

Is it just me or the relation between between Captain Bailey and Shepard feels a lot like Commissioner Gordon and Batman.

Technicly, visiting Citadel is optional. Should be interesting to see how Shepard will greet Bailey for the first time in ME3.

I like bringing Legion to the Citadel and then talking to the receptionist outside the drop off zone. It's hilarious.

Dang, Big Dan, AGAIN with something I've never seen or knew was there. My goodness, I've played this trilogy through (including Legendary Edition now) so many times...SO many times, and yet, still finding new stuff, both in game and in your videos. It's one of many reasons this trilogy is my hands down favorite game set of all to this day. :-)

I really liked the comment that, now with Shepard, only 3 individuals refused to be specters and the other two were matriarchs. I think this will be the new route that I will always follow from now on, it also makes sense that during all ME2 you are working with Cerberus Shepard prefer not to mix with the "good guys", even if it is at least to avoid staining them, and stay "officially dead" to improve the secrecy issue... and who knows? Perhaps Shepard is still not sure if he/she is the real Shepard or if he/she is an experimental clone or robot of Cerberus. It would also make a nice contrast to ME1 where I always preferred to say "I am Commander Shepard, of the Alliance" at every opportunity rather than saying I was a specter, as I liked to think of Shepard as a proud human.
More closer to the ME3 there of course going back to being Shepard and a specter.

Rare Tali Mass Effect 3 dialogue. You only need to complete one of either Tuchunka: Turian Troops or Attican Traverse: Krogan Team before continuing the story and hold off on the other until after Priority: Rannoch to bring Tali to the mission you left and get rare dialouge. The Turian Troops/Bomb questline has Tali making comparisons between Tarquin and herself after troops and the squad mate lost on Virmire after bomb. On the Krogan Team mission Tali has a funny reaction to mechanized workers because of her arachnophobia.

Only time I'm not a spectre in Mass Effect 2 is if the council is dead and Udina is the councilor

Such a cool little clip. Think of it this way, It's fortunate that Garrus left in ME1 to come work for us. If he had worked under Bailey he may never have joined us on the hunt for Saren. Garrus and Bailey may have been perfect together in C-Sec.

I love how whether you played the original trilogy back in the day, or if you played the Legendary Edition (recently released) there's always extra dialogue to discover it goes to show how much hard work and dedication that each individual voice actor gave to make the mass effect universe diverse and in depth

So Bioware made all of these scenes that players might never have seen but they only made one scene for A/K in ME2.

Hey Big Dan, I think I found some rare ME2 dialogue when you bring Tali with you to sort out the situation between a Volus accusing a Quarian of stealing from him.

In another reality bailey saved a mailman who was shot in the head and left for dead.

I always use the save editor to get those rare dialogues and checking the box that says "councils reinstates you as spectre". Under the Citadel mission tab.
