I have fine 4c hair and have a very difficult time finding a style. I love my hair and am trying to grow it long and I like shoulder to bra length hair. I think everyone should do what makes them happy. If you love your hair natural, you should rock it. If you prefer your hair relaxed, then do it.

I don't think that black women realise how bad the chemicals in the relaxing products are. I'm natural for 6 years now and I stopped relaxing my hair because I could feel the damage in my scalp, sometimes I felt like small needles were in my scalp. Never felt that again since I stop relaxing. We can also have straight hair if we want is a style but it should not be permanent. Just do a nice brushing and then when the effect passes just go back to your natural state😉

I have never understood hating on hair that a person was born with. I am a 28 year old white woman and I, as far back as I can remember, have admired people with kinky, curly and textured hair. I think hair is beautiful and if you hate the way God designed you or the way God designed other people, then there is something wrong with your mindset.
