Pro-Tips:

- Dryfall comes pre-tinted in black; and only a small selection of other colors. If you want to tint Dryfall to a custom color you have to preorder in advance and the chemical ratio generally is not perfect; I would advise against it.

-Most people don't know what Dryfall really means. Simply, "The overspray dries in the air as it falls to the ground" This prevents the overspray paint from fumigating; for a more safe work environment, and prevents the paint from sticking to all other adjacent surfaces / substrates. It is easy to sweep up and does not stick or stain; unless it gets wet or experiences friction.

Pressure - The time window on this project was tight. When we started we only had 24 hours to get it done before the fire inspection the very next day.

This ceiling was spray painted 4 times using several large air blower fans to speed up the dry time.

We spent more time preparing the room as a giant spray booth and disassembling / cleaning up - compared to time spent actually spray painting.

All of the walls had to be dropped with plastic and taped perfectly at the ceilings inside corner reveal line. All of the floor had to be protected, even though we used Dryfall paint we still don't take any chances.

Air ventilation is key, sometimes we build a plastic hallway using stansions and fans to exhaust the fumes to the nearest exit or window air blower with a long hose is better. On a small job, a friend used the exhaust on his vacuum with 30' of vacuum hose, again i would not recommend his method.
