Decry is a very strange word for Wordle, I think. I am not sure I’ve ever used it in conversation, though I have read it a lot. You thought of it much quicker than I did, Mark!

Something that's easy to overlook (especially at speed) is that the gray R in the opening guess meant R could never come last or be repeated. Fortunately, Mark came to the same conclusion via other means.

I spent several minutes trying to think of possibilities for the letters I had (C, E, R, and Y) and DECRY wasn't one of them. I tried a random word with D in it and once I had all the letters I got it.
