You hit the mark with your idea! Can rent a very nice 3 bedroom 2 bath 130sqm for less than 4000rmb per month here, easily to find $500-$600 and many nice smaller apartments for far less, $250 much nicer than this one, sorry :) . Many 2nd & 3rd tier cities are the absolute best places for foreigners to enjoy and experience life in China - I am much happier living in Shenyang, it is equally beautiful to all the 1st tier cities and the cost of living is half! Guys, we haven't used this type of washing machines since long time ago, and your apartment decoration belongs to old style, which was very common in 1990s.Dude, at least, you should have made some simple modification before moving into this apartment in order to improve your living quality.Ya illahi! You guys should visit former Goguryeo capitals in Jian 集安 and Huanren 桓仁. Quite pretty cities

I wish I had a better picture of that location. That is very close to my house in Harbin.
Apparently today my wife just sold her house. We are buying a new house.
I have to get something notarized this week giving her permission to do so.
What little bit of the neighborhood I did see it looks very familiar

Location is probably the most important thing in an apartment, but I think I would still need a little step up in quality, especially if I have any chance to date a girl! I would be reluctant to keep so much junk on the balcony. You might give foreigners a bad reputation for being trashy.

That apartment looks similar to one of my first apartments in Beijing 😁.. Paying 8k RMB for my little apartment in Beijing... One bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Beijing is ridiculous!
