I’d like to think that this takes place years after they fell in love. Like, when Jenny texts “oh we’re doing the whole bit” it’s like she’s saying “lmao ok I’ll play along and go back to when I was oblivious.” And then near the end when Jenny is trying to sound convincing about her ex by saying “he’s taking anger management classes” she’s totally playing along. And of course the “I love you” at the end with Jenny responding “I love you too” is so natural. And then the very obvious “Happy Anniversary” at the end too.

Soooo I don't know if anyone else did this, but basically me being a nerdy IT student noticed that the phone and the audiotape were actually communicating in hexadecimal, so I ran their conversation through a simple PHP hex2bin() function and here's what I got!
