AMD is getting really competitive if not better than Intel in some instances. Healthy competition is good for consumers whether you prefer one or the other. I hope that AMD can continue to produce good products and give Intel a run for their money and better products for consumers!!!

honestly amd's gpus are unecessarily criticized. If it weren't for miners the 570 would be the best 1080p gpu, and freesync is way more prevalent than gsync. People look up benchmarks and stuff without considering the games they actually play and how they use their computers...

I love to see AMD being powerful so we still have choices :D

Nvidia’s reputation is going down in flames, no doubt.
As for Vega though, we shall hope that the new cards will be better than the ones we have now.

yay... 9000 series cpus will ned yet ANOTHER motherboard.... x.x;;

That's 4 new motherboards all using the same 1151 and ASUS has said that if intel let them, backwards / forwards compatibility would be possible with a BIOS update.

Also: Corsair's first monitors will be Freesync... Gaurentee it XD

I think you missed a really hot topic - Jim Keller (the guy behind Athlon, Athlon 64, K12, and Zen ) is now at Intel - I think the PC market is about to heat up.

I'm an Nvidia and Intel Fanboy, but I used to only buy AMD till they let us down in the past decade.
I would totally trade in my 1080ti for a Vega that was as good or better than Nvidia's offerings.

So what can we expect from this new vega stuff at launch? More power sucking slightly different but better rebrands or real performance to fight with nvidia top end?

You missed a big one. ;)
Intel it's new 10nm process is still not working despite years of delays. This has caused Ice Lake to be prosponed, again. The next generation will be Whiskey Lake, again on 14nm. Don't expect anything over Coffee Lake for 2019 in terms of IPC or clockspeed. This while AMD will be dropping there 7nm Zen 2 in 2019.

Uh... the new Ryzen with Vega CPUs rus at a lower frequency yes, but the TDP is a lot lower too. So quite a difference to what you claimed in this video. 35 Watts is a lot lower than the G.

Good update! Funny to see yet again how everyone is talking about how nobody is talking about the GPP....
